Hello! My name is Santerria Houseworth and I am the creator of A Houseworth of Learning. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Special Education General Curriculum from the University of Georgia and my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia Southern University. I am a special educator in the Fulton County School System. I currently teach 2nd -4th grade. I have experience teaching grades K-9 reading, math, writing, social studies, and science. I have years of experience teaching basic reading and advance reading. I am also trained in Orton-Gilllingham, which is a multisensory approach to teaching reading. As a special education teacher, I have expertise in many strategies to meet the needs of all learners. I deeply believe in teaching based on student needs and interests. I also believe in cultivating healthy relationships in order to help learners reach their full potential. Learning should be engaging and interactive. Regardless of age and/or disability, I believe everyone is capable of learning!
I offer tutorial services in reading and math. I also offer homework help for grades K-12. I
